Department of Mathematics
The Department of mathematics was established in the year 1979 to teach mathematics to the students of other programs of Engineering. The Department of Mathematics has faculty strength of 15 members (2 Professors, 1 Associate Professors and 12 Assistant Professors). Ten of them have doctoral degree and two are pursuing their Ph.D. program. The department of Mathematics offers courses for both graduate and post graduate students, by providing the foundation in mathematics that is crucial to the education of engineering students. The department is recognized as one of its research centres by the VTU during 2006. At present the department R&D centre so far produced 13 Ph.D. scholars. Active research is being pursued in the areas of Graph Theory, Fluid dynamics, Differential Geometry, Fuzzy Topology and many more. Our faculty members have published a good number of research papers in reputed national and international journals and presented papers in National and international conferences. driven challenges.
